The favoured tipple of the high seas. The gimlet was devised to prevent scurvy. when sailors anxious to avoid. tool to mixing lime cordial with their gin they created one of the earliest cocktails.  Dishoom's version, made by their own DAruwallas in theor King's Cross Permit Room uses the freshest dill and adds a dash of aromatic celery bitters. 

TO SERVE: Place in the freezer for 30 minutes with two coupe or martini glasses; pour into the chilled glasses and add a squeeze of lime, garnish with a sprig of dill. 

STORAGE: Can be stored at room temperature, ideally in a cool dark place

INGREDIENTS: dill-washed London Dry gin, Rose’s lime cordial – as is traditional – and celery bitters. We recommend a squeeze of fresh lime to serve.  ABV: 20%.

RECYCLING: the glass bottle is recyclable and the whole bottle can be returned to a Dishoom café and guests will be rewarded for their thoughtfulness.
